The Wilhelm Steinberg factory has roots in piano making from 1877. After the reunification of Germany, several piano companies formed Thuringer Pianoforte.

STEINBERG pianos. The keyboard is a vital link between the performer’s mental interpretation and the piano’s rendition, and affords the performer with the purist of tactile feedback. Black keys are made from ebony that has a density of up to 1.3g/cm3 and produces a smoother, more comfortable feel.

At PETERSON, we believe that so much piano has never been so affordable before. WILH STEINBERG P series grands and uprights benefits from the unique design characteristics and patent of WILH. STEINBERG in Germany. Each stage is carefully and painstakingly managed, supervised and inspected by the WILH. STEINBERG factory in Germany.

P series is the new range of great value upright pianos from the highly regarded German piano company. It has taken Germany’s famous piano raftmenship and utilised its abilityfor meticulous material selection such as German Kluge keyboard, Abel Hammer head to create the P series.

Every performance series piano is delivered to the German factory where it is held in storage. Following an appropriate settling period each piano is tuned, regulated and voiced by the German master technicians in the WILH.STEINBERG factory.
