Likewise, other second-brand pianos like DIAPASON, MÄRCHEN, and EMPEROR were made by KAWAI. These second brands are typically based on original YAMAHA or KAWAI models, with some custom modifications. For example, the ETERNA E1A shares the same design and specifications as the YAMAHA U1A, but with an upgrade in tuning pins from chrome-plated to nickel-plated.
